It is day nineteen of our first attempt at incubation. As instructed I have stopped the egg turning mechanism and increased the humidity level to 60%.
The weather continues to be cold, windy and wet. I am still nervous about putting any cucumber plants into the lean to. I don’t want to lose them at this stage. However, Carmen 1 has outgrown its second cane and will soon be too cumbersome to take in the car to the plot. The Butternut Squash also needs to move outside.
