I bought a few potted spring bulbs from Lidl on Saturday and today I repotted the White Hyacinth to grow on indoors. The others will go outside around the damson tree.

The seed potatoes have arrived and are now sitting in egg boxes on the window ledge to chit. They arrived in excellent condition so I am optimistic that we shall get a good harvest.

I have had some Peas Fortune sprouting in a jar for a few days and this morning I have transferred them to two seven inch pots to grow on a bit more.

pea fortune

A high quality, hardy pea for the first crop in early summer. Large pods are well filled with delicously sweet peas.
