Arabis Spring Charm or Wall Cress is familiar as a rock garden or edging perennial used for a bright spring display. Plants form a small mound of olive green leaves bearing masses of sweetly fragrant, deep-pink flowers for several weeks. Drought tolerant once established. These require good drainage, particularly in the winter months. Shear plants lightly after blooming in order to maintain a bushy, compact habit. Evergreen. This is a selection of a native west coast wildflower. Not a long-lived species, but plants will self seed when happy. I scattered a few seeds in the side garden in May and they have already formed nice little plants so I have sown a few more today.
